 After a long-term injury to offensive midfielder Matias Delgado, Besiktas are searching for a replacement to fill the vacancy ahead of the Champions League competition. According to reports, Besiktas plan to freeze Delgado's contract in order to free a slot in the team's foreign player contingency and transfer a new playmaker. Turkish media has linked Gaziantepspor's Rodrigo Tabata (29) as the likely replacement. While Argentine media places Riverplate's Diego Buonanotte (21) as the heir apparent.
