Boumsong Move To Lyon Just Hours Away Jean-Alain Boumsong will complete his loan move from Juventus to Lyon within the next few hours, the French club’s President Jean-Michel Aulas has confirmed.

The 28-year-old defender is out of favour in Turin, and has been linked with a host of teams during this transfer window, including Lazio and Besiktas.
Ultimately it seems that French champions Lyon have won the race for Boumsong, with the defender expected to sign a loan deal until the end of the season, with an option to then make the move permanent for a set fee.
“We should complete a deal for Boumsong at the start of the week,” Aulas stated.

“In the next few hours we will meet with Juventus officials to come to an agreement.”
Boumsong signed for Juventus in 2006 after a disastrous spell at Newcastle Utd, where he had became notorious for his error-prone partnership with Titus Bramble.
The ex-Auxerre man was a regular for Juve during their Serie B promotion campaign last season, however he has barely had a kick this term due to injuries.
With Boumsong set to leave, it seems inevitable now that the Bianconeri will immediately snap up one or two defenders to strengthen their very thin looking backline.
