Profile:
A spectacular dribbler with great technique and a magical left foot, Ze Roberto has played at left back, in left midfield and on the left wing. Twice a Copa America winner with Brazil, he played at the 1998 FIFA World Cup but was overlooked for their 2002 FIFA World Cup squad. However, he returned to the side following the departure of Luiz Felipe Scolari and has played his part in the qualifying campaign for Germany 2006, notably figuring in the 3-1 victory against Argentina in June 2004. Has just celebrated winning the German league and cup double with Bayern Munich.
