Der türkische Großclub unterbreitete den Burgenländern nach Angaben der Tageszeitung Kurier bereits ein Kaufangebot über 750.000 Euro plus Ablösespiel. Mattersburg-Obmann und Bundesliga-Präsident Martin Pucher bestätigte ein seit mehreren Wochen bestehendes Interesse von Besiktas an dem 22-jährigen Mittelfeldspieler. Bisher schlug der Club aus dem Burgenland aber alle gebotenen Ablösesummen aus. "Er ist ein wichtiger Spieler für uns. Grundsätzlich planen wir mit ihm, da wir durch die Abgänge von Kühbauer und Fuchs ohnehin einen Aderlass haben", erklärte der Mattersburg-Obmann. Erst auf Drängen von Atan habe sich Pucher durchgerungen, den 22-Jährigen im Falle eines "sehr interessanten Angebots" ziehen zu lassen bzw. einen Transfer überhaupt erst anzudenken. Noch hat Besiktas nicht jene Summe geboten, die der SVM-Boss als "sehr interessant" einstufen würde. Atan, dessen Vertrag erst mit 30.
